NewReel joins the Wysp product family

Read an entire Discord server like a database.

Reel quietly indexes the channels you can already open into a private database on your own machine — then an AI agent answers evidence-backed questions across the whole server and exports every channel at once. No bot. No token. Nothing leaves your device.

Whole-server analysis

Ask your server anything. Get answers backed by receipts.

Reel's analyzer is an agentic loop: it reads your prompt, calls local tools against your indexed database, and returns a structured answer — every claim traceable to the exact messages behind it. People, topics, tech stacks, hiring funnels, contact signals.

  • Cross-channel by default. Combine #job-board, #showcase and #intros in one question — not one channel at a time.
  • Evidence, not vibes. Each result links to dated, channel-tagged messages with the trigger phrases highlighted.
  • Private by construction. Only ≤25 selected rows per tool call ever reach the model. Your full corpus never leaves.

Ask a follow-up across the server…
The whole server · not one channel

Export every channel in a server. Most tools stop at one.

Other exporters make you dump channels one by one. Reel walks the entire server you can access — every readable channel and thread — and writes one clean dataset. RFC-4180 CSV or newline-delimited JSONL, with permalinks, timestamps and authors intact.

  • Server-wide in one run. Select a whole server; Reel discovers and queues every channel it can read.
  • Analysis-ready columns. id · timestamp · permalink · author · content — drop it straight into a notebook or sheet.
  • Exports are free. CSV & JSONL work on the free tier — no downloads permission, just an in-page save.

How it works

Three moves: capture, index, ask.

Reel never logs in as you and never crawls in the background. It only captures what is rendered in your own browser, in response to a click.

STEP 01

Capture what you can see

Open a Discord channel, click the Reel lens in the toolbar, and the sidebar backfills by date range or message cap — Channel, Server, or Live.

STEP 02

Index into a local database

Messages land in IndexedDB on your machine and get a full-text search index. Deduped, structured, queryable — and it works completely offline.

STEP 03

Ask, or export

Open the Analyzer to chat with the AI agent over your data, or switch to the table to filter, sort and export the whole server as CSV or JSONL.

Privacy is the product

Built so your data has nowhere to leak.

Reel is local-first, not a server-side scraper. The corpus lives in your browser. The only thing that ever touches the network is a tiny AI snippet — and only on Pro, only when you ask.

No token. No bot.

Reel never asks for or stores a Discord token, never logs in, and never opens a gateway client.

Only what you can see

Captures are limited to messages rendered in your own browser, triggered by your click. No hidden crawling.

Stored on your device

Everything indexed sits in IndexedDB locally. The free tier works end-to-end with no backend at all.

≤25 rows to the AI

Pro analysis sends only the snippets a tool selects — never your whole corpus, never raw bulk upload.

Reel is independent and not affiliated with Discord. Indexing channels may breach Discord's Terms of Service — use it on communities you have a right to, and at your own risk.
Pricing

Free is genuinely useful. Pro is for investigations.

No trial games — the free tier is a complete experience for the data it can hold. Pro unlocks the AI agent, the whole server, and unlimited scale.

FAQ

Questions, answered plainly.

Does Reel use my Discord login or a bot?
No. Reel never asks for a token, never logs in as you, and never runs a bot or gateway client. It only reads messages already rendered in your own browser tab, when you click to capture.
Where do my messages go?
Into IndexedDB on your own machine. On the free tier nothing ever leaves your device. On Pro, the AI agent sends only the small snippets a tool selects — capped at 25 rows per call — to run analysis. Your full corpus is never uploaded.
How is exporting a whole server different from other tools?
Most exporters work one channel at a time. Reel discovers and queues every channel and thread you can read across an entire server, then writes a single CSV or JSONL with permalinks, timestamps and authors — ready for a notebook or spreadsheet.
What do I actually get for free?
One server, one channel, up to 500 messages, full-text search, sorting and filtering, and both export formats. It's a complete workflow for a focused slice of data — no AI, but no nagging either.
Is this allowed?
Reel is independent and not affiliated with Discord. Indexing channels can breach Discord's Terms of Service. Use it on communities you have a right to access, and at your own risk — the privacy section spells out the boundaries we hold to.

Turn a server you can read into answers you can trust.
